Health and Safety at Work is strictly enforced and the requirements are embodied in Noise At Work Regulations 1989. Employers have a duty to identify whether or not their employees are at risk from physical agents of which noise forms only a part. There is also a duty to reduce noise exposure levels as far as practicably possible. Acoustic Design Services Ltd will Undertake work place noise surveys to identify areas above and below the First and Second action levels as set out in the Noise at Work Regulations 1989. Conduct general work place monitoring and to monitor the personal noise exposure ( Le,pd ) of the work force. Advise on noise control measures to reduce the noise exposure. Advise on selection of personal ear protection Measure vibration levels of employees using hand tools and advise.
