The key to minimising noise and vibration problems is  to identify them at the design stage of a building or conversion.  In many cases it is essential to set clear and realistic design targets for the required internal sound levels, to consider the relationship of different activities and to  assess the required sound insulation requirements between spaces of different activities

Conduct sound surveys of plant and building  services prior to  handover

Appraise drawings of proposed buildings at design stage,

Liaise with Designers and Architects in respect of organisation of building, materials and acoustic criteria.  Advise on suitable internal finishes

Calculate/ measure  Reverberation Times and advise on  material finishes and panels

Calculate the sound levels from air handling plant, ancillary equipment both internally and external to the building
